When released in 1989 this essential illustrated history of Rock Posters created a feverish demand for concert posters . This was the first time fans of this art were able to see these works all displayed in one place. Originally intended as a mass market coffee table book, "The Art of Rock" has since become an indispensable introduction  to the hobby for new collectors. The cataloging system has been adopted by the current poster community and grading companies.
